This new Ferrazzutti jointer/shooting plane is solid American Cherry combined with an Ebony sole, cross pin and wedge. It is signed and is the fifth in an up coming series of unique shooting planes. The plane is 1-7/8’’ x 1-7/8’’ x 14’’ long and comes with a fully sharpened O1 steel Hock 1-1/4’’ iron and breaker. The narrow design is well suited for edging boards and removing machine marks prior to edge gluing. It is also very effective used on it’s side for shooting veneers for flawless joints. The angular shape and tapering facets not only add interest and style they make the plane feel nice in the hands. It’s actually hard to describe how awesome this plane feels in the hands.
