These ‘Squaring Sticks’ are made from Snakewood and Black & White Ebony. Snakewood is a very challenging wood to work with and the yields from raw form are quite low. This species if one of the hardest and luxurious of all the woods. It is highly prized for its rare snake skin figure. These sticks operate using a finely hand fit sliding dovetail and they lock in place with the brass thumb screw.

The sticks are used primarily to measure and compare opposite diagonal dimensions during glue up to determine the object is square. Perfect for boxes, drawers and small cabinets, you’ll find a multitude of uses for them around the shop.

The small set measures approximately 9.5’’ and opens to 15.5’’

The large set measures approximately 15.5’’ and opens to 27.5’’
