These ‘Squaring Sticks’ are made from Kingwood and Ebony. This set is book matched featuring some sapwood. Kingwood is in the Rosewood family and its purple colour will get darker and richer with time . These sticks operate using a finely hand fit sliding dovetail and they lock in place with the brass thumb screw.

The sticks are used primarily to measure and compare opposite diagonal dimensions during glue up to determine the object is square. Perfect for boxes, drawers and small cabinets, you’ll find a multitude of uses for them around the shop.
