My latest box combines some of my favourite woods, European curly Sycamore and Quartered Pau Ferro. The pattern is pin striped with dyed black Poplar. The angular Pau Ferro that gives Front Range Colorado vibes for me is combined with a new version of a cracked ice pattern that uses curves in the Sycamore. The interior is Bees wing figured and fumed Eucalyptus. The box is edged in solid Ebony, signed and dated carved in.
